I first started my interest in anything automotive when I was younger – helping my dad service and fix his cars. 
I always liked anything automotive and had rc cars, motorbikes, go karts, and even a boat too! 
I’ve owned a few different types of cars from having a Vauxhall Astra vxr being my first modified turbo car to having a Nissan 350z which gave me my first experience of having a high-powered rwd car. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to enjoy the 350z for long as it got written off by another driver. I decided after that to get a mk2 Ford Focus ST that I also modified. 
I also started going to watch banger racing and hot rods at Arena Essex and Smallfields raceway as I had friends that used to compete that encouraged me to have a go. I started by building a Nissan Sunny and then a Nissan Almera which was really good fun. After that I built a Mazda MX5 to be an unlimited hot rod which had some good success – even won some trophies! 
With the success of my MX5, it made me want to start doing some track racing which led me to build my Nissan S13 200sx. I fabricated and built the S13 to be fully road legal and to be used to have fun on track days, which has now gone to a new home. We currently have a 1974 mk1 Ford Escort, a mk5 VW Golf (which will be a track/competition car) and an R32 GTST Skyline which are our current ongoing projects.
